Step by step guide
Toggle to Nutrition and select the meal you want to update. If it’s a new meal, tap Add Meal, then Add Food.
For a basic whole food, such as fruit or chicken breast, search the food list and choose a suitable verified option with a tick.
For a packaged product, tap Create New. Give it a name you’ll recognise later.
Copy the serving size, protein, carbs, fat and calories from the product’s nutrition label. Make sure all the values come from the same column, such as “per serve”. If the label only lists kilojoules, divide by 4.18 to get calories.
Enter the amount you actually ate, then tap Add Food. The app will adjust the nutrition values to match that amount.
If you’re replacing an ingredient in your meal plan, swipe left on the original ingredient and tap the bin to delete it. Once the meal reflects what you ate, mark it Complete.
You only need to create a product once. Next time, look for it under My Foods or Recent.
Practise creating a new food
Choose one of the four products, read its nutrition label and enter the information into the practice app. Use the calculator to work out calories from kilojoules. These are fictional nutrition labels created for practice.
